.set) — pre-optimised settings for different pairs and risk levels - Installation Instructions — product-specific notes (if applicable)
Your files are available for download from the success page immediately after payment, and are also sent to your email.

Enable Automated Trading
MetaTrader disables automated trading by default for safety. You need to enable it:
- Click Tools → Options (or press
Ctrl + O) - Go to the Expert Advisors tab
- Check the following boxes:
- ☑ Allow Automated Trading
- ☑ Allow DLL imports (required by some EAs)
- ☑ Allow WebRequest for listed URLs (if the EA accesses external data)
- Click OK to save
Attach the EA to a Chart
- Open a chart for the pair you want to trade (e.g. EUR/USD)
- Set the chart timeframe to the EA's recommended timeframe (see product page)
- Drag the EA from the Navigator panel onto the chart
- A settings window will appear — review and adjust the inputs if needed
- On the Common tab, ensure the following are checked:
- ☑ Allow Automated Trading
- ☑ Allow DLL imports (if required)
- Click OK
You should now see the EA name in the top-right corner of the chart with a happy face 😊 indicating it is active.
Configure EA Settings
Each Trade Pulse EA comes with pre-optimised default settings that work out of the box. However, you can customise:
- Risk Percentage — Set the percentage of your account to risk per trade (default: 1-2%)
- Lot Size — Fixed or auto-calculated based on account balance
- Session Filters — Choose which trading sessions to allow (London, New York, Asia)
- Trade Direction — Long only, Short only, or Both
- Maximum Spread — Only trade when spreads are below this value
- News Filter — Pause trading during high-impact news events
To load a pre-optimised .set file:
- In the EA settings window, click the Load button
- Navigate to
MQL4/PresetsorMQL5/Presets - Select the appropriate
.setfile for your pair and risk preference - Click Open and review the loaded settings

Run on a VPS (Recommended)
For 24/7 operation, we strongly recommend running your EA on a Virtual Private Server (VPS). A VPS ensures:
- 99.9% Uptime — Your EA never sleeps
- Low Latency — Direct connection to your broker's server
- No Downtime — Your computer can be turned off
Recommended VPS providers:
- ForexVPS.net — Starting at $15/month (optimised for MT5 only)
- TradingFXVPS — Starting at $12/month (low latency)
- CheapVPS.co.za — South African VPS, starting at R99/month
- DigitalOcean — From $6/month (requires manual MT5 only setup)
